Florida's Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) -2015 - This plan is federally mandated. The plan is data driven and provides the state with a means of prioritizing traffic safety efforts and funding for those efforts. The SHSP is updated and/or revised periodically to appropriately reflect changes in the data that drives our focus areas.

Florida SHSP Tracking Tool - This tool is used to keep track of traffic safety efforts throughout the state.  The information is used to report activity to the FDOT Secretary, the Governor, and to the federal government (USDOT, FHWA, and NHTS).  These reports are critical to informing the federal government of successes of our local traffc safety efforts to insure continued funding.

FDOT Traffic Safety Grants - This site provides everything you will need to apply for or manage an FDOT Traffic Safety Grant. Along with a general overview, you will find eligibility information, rules & regulations, a grant timeline, emphasis areas, sample concept papers, and all the forms/documents you will need to apply for or manage your grant.

Data Matrices - city and county rank about cities/counties of similar size in regard to all of the major traffic safety emphasis areas. These provide excellent quantitative measure when writing you problem statement for a grant concept paper, but are also useful in identifying the areas in which you should focus your traffic safety efforts.
